There are only a few days left before the New Year to plan your winter vacation. Therefore, if you prefer active recreation to lying on Egyptian sun loungers, you should definitely head to the Carpathians. After all, these places are the epicenter of winter recreation and the best region for skiing in Ukraine.
Bukovel
Bukovel is today the most famous ski resort in the Ukrainian Carpathians. Its name has become a brand, and in 2012 it was recognized as the fastest growing resort in the world.
Bukovel is located surrounded by three mountains – Bukovel, Chorna Kleva and Dovga, and is the largest resort, in the form of a tourist town. It is rightfully considered the most elite and best in terms of technical equipment in the Carpathians. Here you will find entertainment for every taste and level of training. And the only drawback of this resort can be called prices: they are higher than in other Carpathian complexes and are equal to European ones. However, the quality of service here also meets the best standards, and it is for it that you have to pay.
Bukovel combines 63 ski slopes of all levels of difficulty and 14 lifts. The total length of the slopes exceeds 60 km, and the length of the longest slope is 2106 m.
In Bukovel there are trails of three levels of difficulty – blue, red and black, so both beginners accompanied by instructors and experienced professional athletes can ski here. In Bukovel there is Bukovelskischoll – a school that guarantees training in confident skiing or snowboarding in 4 days.
All slopes are equipped with snow cannons, so you can enjoy your stay here in any weather. The ski season at the resort lasts from December to April.
