After all, it is in the fall that cities and architectural monuments look even more majestic and mysterious against the backdrop of the autumn sky and golden colors.
There are many interesting places in Ukraine that are worth visiting. But if you want to do it in the fall, we offer a selection of options for traveling through the country in the fall.
Kherson region, "Askania-Nova" reserve
"Askania-Nova" is a real oasis in the Kherson steppe, which is constantly changing its color.
The state reserve is spread over an area of about 34 hectares, of which 11 hectares are an absolute protected area.
The reserve is worth visiting, with a zoo that houses birds and animals from almost all countries of the world, as well as a picturesque botanical garden with a huge number of artificial ponds, where trees and shrubs from all climatic zones of the Earth are presented.
And what magnificent autumn landscapes there are! Tourists can see animals in the most natural conditions and observe their behavior.

Chernivtsi, City Day and Y. Fedkovych University
Perhaps the first thing that comes to mind when thinking about Chernivtsi is the Yuriy Fedkovych Chernivtsi National University.
After all, this building, the former residence of metropolitans, amazes with its beauty and grandeur, and films are often shot within its walls.
But besides this, Chernivtsi also has a wonderful Kobylanska Musical and Drama Theater, a city hall, and a Museum of Folk Architecture and Life.
It is in the fall, on the first Saturday of October, that Chernivtsi celebrates City Day.

Located in the northern part of the city, the Poltava Arboretum invites you to take an autumn walk along the trails of the 17-hectare park.
A special feature of the park is its relief: many viewing platforms with interesting perspectives and bright clearings.
The park is rich in springs, with streams flowing through all the beams. The luxurious carpet of various grasses combined with water and trees of various shapes and colors create an unforgettable effect.
Chernihiv region, Kachanivka reserve
The National Historical and Cultural Reserve "Kachanivka" exists on the basis of a noble estate of the late 18th - early 20th centuries, which is unique in its architectural originality, historical value, and landscape uniqueness.
An architectural complex headed by a palace, a park with breathtaking views, and the largest body of water in Ukrainian park construction practice.
Memorial places associated with the stay of famous personalities in the estate: Shevchenko's glade, Gogol's oak tree, Glinka's gazebo, in which in 1838 M. Glinka wrote excerpts for the opera "Ruslan and Lyudmila", the grave-mound of Grigory Chestakhivsky - a friend and associate of T. G. Shevchenko, "romantic" ruins, authentic furniture of the owners of Kachanivka from the second half of the 19th century.
Carpathians
Autumn is the perfect time to be among the picturesque Carpathian Mountains, wander through the forests and fully enjoy the clean Carpathian air.

For example, Vorokhta in Ivano-Frankivsk region. The village is surrounded on all sides by the Carpathian National Nature Park.
Most of the park's territory is occupied by heights, including the highest point in Ukraine, Hoverla.

In the Carpathians, you will be offered horseback riding, quad biking, cycling, and tasting delicacies.
Autumn is the season for mushrooms, which will be a nice bonus: picking mushrooms and berries in the forest.
Try a unique wellness procedure: bathing in vats. The water is heated to 40-45 degrees, and sometimes fragrant herbs are added.
After the procedure, you should immerse yourself in cold water.
Transcarpathia, Mukachevo
Mukachevo is one of those cities in Western Ukraine that harmoniously combines ancient history and modernity, Western European culture and Ukrainian flavor.
Located on two banks of the Latoritsa River, surrounded by a ring of mountains, forests and fields, the main asset of which for descendants was Palanok Castle.
If your interests include a date-walk, then in the afternoon it is best to go to the Latoritsa embankment. There you will find picturesque landscapes, parks and squares, and in the evening, after enjoying the sunset, head to the city center.
If you want a more lively holiday and fun, come to Mukachevo in November to celebrate St. Martin's Day, which is considered the patron saint of the city.
The traditional dish and drink at the celebration of St. Martin's Day is roasted goose and young wine.
Zhytomyr region, museum complex "Radomysl Castle"
Radomysl Castle (Water Mill) is a historical and cultural monument, which is a complex of buildings and covers an area of about 2,500 square meters.
The geographical location of the park impresses with the beauty of its landscapes.
The building is located on an island near the city of Radomyshl and is surrounded by waterfalls and fast rivers.
Around the castle itself is a landscaped park, where you can admire bizarre plants and stone sculptures.
But the main wealth of the castle is its holy icons. The Museum of Ukrainian Home Icons "Soul of Ukraine" is the only museum of its kind in the world.
The exhibition presents more than five thousand images from the 17th-20th centuries.
Kharkiv region, Dvorichanskyi nature park
In the Kharkiv region there is an interesting and unique natural landmark - the Chalk Mountains.
The chalk mountains in the Dvorichansky district attract tourists with their majestic and unique view.
The Cretaceous slopes were formed during the Paleogene sea more than 70 million years ago.
The mountains stretch for several dozen kilometers along the Oskil River.
The most interesting and picturesque part of the mountains is located between the villages of Kamyanka and Novomlynsk in the Dvorichansky district.
Dvorichansky National Nature Park is unique for Ukraine.
Because the chalk slopes remained relatively intact, endemic vegetation was also preserved.
