Towel "For luck - For fate"

A charming wedding towel for the newlyweds with the best wishes "For happiness - For destiny". A towel is the life path of the newlyweds, so its fabric should be whole and continuous, like the life of a newly-made family. According to ancient customs, the center of the towel must remain free of embroidery - this is God's place. When the newlyweds stand on the towel during their wedding, they receive blessings from above. The middle of the towel, free from embroidery, personifies the connection with the Universe. When the wedding ceremony is left behind, the towel will be kept in the family of the newlyweds for many years as a talisman of a happy family life.

It has long been believed that the minimum number of towels needed at a real ethnic wedding is five: the most important one, the one on which the couple stands during the wedding ceremony, two towels for icons for the bride and groom, a towel for the wedding loaf, and a towel to tie the bride and groom's hands.

The towel depicts the symbol of Berehyna - a large fairy-tale flower - one of the strong and effective amulets in Ukrainian embroidery. This symbol means protective magic and cleansing from evil. According to the best traditions, it is embroidered with red threads with the addition of black ones.

The towel is made in domestic production from natural white linen. The embroidery is made of high-quality viscose silk in red and black tones. The technique used for embroidery is a double cross, which makes the pattern rich and visually voluminous. The unique embroidery technique allows you to create a play of light and shadow on the product. The length of the towel is 1.8 meters, width is 34 centimeters.
